GRENOBLE - ACCORDIONS
The Grenoble Accordions association was created on July 16, 1992. Its objective is to promote the concert accordion in ensemble music, and to make the general public discover the multiple facets of this instrument. It also has a unifying role which consists in proposing to soloists to come together, to realize themselves within a united group, to make new friendships, and to make music by sharing the same passion.
His concert orchestra is made up of a dozen musicians under the direction of Chantal Legros. The repertoire is very eclectic, with musical styles varying from classical to jazz, including French and international variety, film music, Argentine tango, and contemporary works. The orchestra performs in concert in the Auvergne Rhône Alpes region. It also participates in competitions, festivals, charitable events, school-based interventions, the music festival, as well as national and international exchanges.
